 Rookie actress Choi Sung Eun will reportedly be the female lead  for the upcoming Netflix original series "Annarasumanara.”  Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Yeop are also in talks for the said series. 

Choi Sung Eun's agency ACE Factory responded to the reports and shared that nothing has been decided yet on the actress' casting. 

"Annarasumanara" is based from the popular web-toon with the same name written by Ha Il Kwon. The web-toon is about a girl who loses her dream of becoming a magician. She lives a difficult life until she met a mysterious immature magician. 

Choi Sung Eun got the offer to play as Yoon Ai, a high school student. She lost her dream because of the harsh reality of life but after meeting the magician, she will gradually achieve her dream. 

Ji Chang Wook on the other hand got the offer to play the role of Lee Eul and Hwang In Yeop as Na Il Deung. If Ji Chang Wook accepts the role, this will be his next project after "Lovestruck in the City" with Kim Ji Won. Meanwhile Hwang In Yeop previously appeared in the drama "True Beauty" with Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young and if he also accepts the role, this will be his follow up work. 

The rookie actress made herself known with her debut film "Start-Up" in 2019. Choi Sung Eun won the Rookie of the Year award at the 25th Choonsa Film Festival in the same year. She's also part of the drama "Beyond Evil" starring Yeo Jin Goo and Shin Ha Kyun that will premiere on Feb 19.

"Annarasumanara" will have 6 episodes and it be directed by Kim Seong Yoon, who also helmed hit dramas such as KBS 2TV’s “Love in the Moonlight,” JTBC’s “Itaewon Class,” and more. The series will be available on Netflix.
