"Queen of Tears" Park Sung Hoon: "Poverty and a sense of inferiority became the driving force"

KBS2's upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama The Matchmaker is a historical romantic comedy that unfolds the comical struggle of the young widow Jung Soon Deok and young widower Shim Jung Woo in the Joseon era to create a marriage strategy to marry off Joseon's four young maidens.
The Matchmaker brings together the talents of writer Ha Soo Jin and director Hwang Seung Gi.

Rowoon raised expectations for his comedic transformation with his perfect fit for the role of Shim Jung Woo, Hanyang's most angry man. Shim Jung Woo possesses a brilliant mind and is the youngest to pass the state civil service examination.

The production team said, "The Matchmaker will be a refreshing comic melodrama set in the historical genre that everyone of all ages can enjoy". They asked for viewers' high expectations and interest.
The Matchmaker is scheduled to release on October 30.
