The production team of tvN's upcoming drama Twinkling Watermelon released fresh stills featuring Ryeoun.
In the K-drama, Ryeoun plays Eun Gyeol, a young CODA (child of deaf adults) boy with a talent for music. One day, he mysteriously finds himself in the year 1995, where he meets his father, a high school student at that time, and forms a band with him and the young people he meets there.
Eun Gyeol, as a child of deaf parents, is always ready to help his family in times of need, being the epitome of an obedient boy. He bridges the gap between his family and the world as a hearing individual, and also excels in studies.
However, even this exemplary student - whose life centers around his family and studies - hides a secret: he secretly performs as a band guitarist in front of others, unbeknownst to his parents. In the released stills, one can discern the distinction between Eun Gyeol's dual roles - a model student by day and a guitarist by night, depicting the stark contrast in his personas.
Overall, Eun Gyeol is an all-rounder who excels in his studies and takes care of his family, all while working hard towards his passion.
