ASTRO's Yoon San Ha, Oh My Girl's Arin, & Chuu will reportedly work together in a new K-drama
The upcoming SBS drama "Let Me Be Your Knight" releases its first teaser clip and confirms its premiere date.
On October 12th SBS released the first video of the upcoming drama "Let Me Be Your Knight." It features the LUNA band with members UKISS Lee Jun Young, NU'EST JR, Yoon Ji Sung, AB6IX's Kim Dong Hyun, and Jang Dong Joo. It was also stated in the video that the drama will officially premiere on November 7th.
"Let Me Be Your Knight" is the latest project of director Ahn Ji Sook ("Kill It") and writer Shin Seo Ha. The drama is produced by Big Ocean ENM and Supermoon Pictures.
"Let Me Be Your Knight" will showcase the romance between a world star idol suffering from sleepwalking and a resident doctor who has to secretly treat it.
Aside from the LUNA band members, actress Jung In Sun will also take the lead in the drama. Lee Jun Young will play the role of Yoon Tae In. He's a member of the famous band LUNA. He believes that he's the center of the world. Jung In Sun will play the role of In Yoon Joo. The doctor that will secretly treat Yoon Tae In. She will also live in the dorm of the band. JR will play as Lee Shin, the bassist of LUNA. Yoon Ji Sung will play as Kim Yoo Chan, the drummer of the band. Kim Don Hyun will play the role of Gaon. The keyboardist and the youngest in the group.
"Let Me Be Your Knight" will air its first episode on November 7, 11:05 PM KST. It will have 12 episodes and will exclusively air on SBS.
"Let Me Be Your Knight" will be Lee Jun Young's follow-up drama after starring in the hit series "D.P." He also starred in the drama "Imitation" this year. Meanwhile, this drama will be Jung In Sun's second drama for the year. She was also part of the drama "How to be Thirty."
This will be the acting debut of NU'EST JR and Yoon Ji Sung. Although this will be their debut drama, it will not be the first time that the two have worked together. JR, Yoon Ji Sung, and Kim Dong Hyun worked together before in the survival program "Produce 101 Season 2."
"Let Me Be Your Knight" will be Kim Dong Hyun's first-ever television drama project. The idol-actor has starred in several web dramas. As for Jang Dong Joo, this will be his second project for this year. He last starred in the web drama "Time to be together 1:11."
