Kim Nam Hee's Life Isn't All Sunshine and Rainbows in "Bittersweet Hell"
The K-drama everyone has been waiting for is finally nearing its premiere. Ahead of the release of Dr. Romantic Season 3, the South Korean broadcasting channel SBS has released pictures of the cast from the script reading session. The actors have reunited after three years after last working in season 2 of the series. And there is nothing better than seeing Doldam squad readying for a comeback.
Han Seok Kyu playing the role of Kim Sa Bu said, “I want to make Season 3 fun together with everyone again. Thank you for setting the stage for Season 3".
Ahn Hyo Seop, who plays Seo Woo Jin, said, "It's an honour to be able to work together once again," and Lee Sung Kyung, seen as Cha Eun Jae said, "I'm lucky to be able to do a drama that many people loved".
The remaining cast members will reprise their roles from the previous seasons - Jin Kyung as head nurse Oh Myung Shim; Im Won Hee as Jang Gi Tae, head of the administrative department; Byun Woo Min as Nam Do Il, the doctor in charge of anesthesiology; So Ju Yeon as Yoon Ah Reum and Yoon Na Moo as Jung In Soo are ER doctors; and Shin Dong Wook as Bae Moon Jung, an orthopaedic surgeon. Kim Joo Heon, who gave extraordinary performance in the the role of Director Park Min Guk in season 2, also showed up for the script reading session.
Yoon Bora and Eom Hyeon Jung, who play the roles of nurses at Doldam hospital were seen with cheerful smiles, giving a bright ambience.
The new addition to the cast includes Lee Shin Young and Lee Hong Nae.
Seasons 1 and 2 of the series have been hits and achieved nationwide ratings of 27.6% and 27.1% respectively.
Dr. Romantic Season 3 will air in April as the follow-up drama of Taxi Driver Season 2. More news is yet to come about the show's broadcast on OTT platforms.
