Death's Game is the story of Choi Yi Jae (Seo In Guk), who goes through the cycle of life and death 12 times as a punishment from the immortal being Death after he tries to take his own life.
Seo In Guk plays Choi Yi Jae, who has been job-hunting for years.
Born into poverty, Choi Yi Jae has experienced nothing but despair and hardships. His kind and optimistic personality has now been replaced by pessimism due to repeatedly failing to find a stable job.
Choi Yi Jae, to bring an end to his string of failures, decides to take his own life. However, he encounters an otherworldly being, Death (Park So Dam), who sentences him to 12 cycles of life and death for his flippant attitude.
The released stills show Choi Yi Jae's gloomy life. His despair is apparent as he sits in an interview room wearing a sad expression.
One can sense his uneasiness from his gaze fixed on the monitor. It offers a glimpse into the hardships Choi Yi Jae endured as a job seeker.
Furthermore, the still showing him clad in an all-black suit and standing against a dark background is equally intriguing. It piques curiosity about Choi Yi Jae's fate and the challenges he will face going through 12 cycles of life and death.
Apart from Seo In Guk and Park So Dam, the Kdrama also stars household names such as Go Youn Jung, Kim Ji Hoon, Kim Jae Wook, Jang Seung Jo, Choi Si Won, Lee Do Hyun, Lee Jae Wook, Sung Hoon, Oh Jung Se, Yoo In Soo, and Nam Kyung Eup.
