Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
SF9's Chani will possibly star in another historical K-drama!
On June 15, TVING shared that Chani is currently discussing his appearance in the upcoming historical romance K-drama The Love Story of Choon Hwa.
If Chani confirms his casting, this will be his fourth time starring in a historical K-drama since his debut. Just last year, Chani also appeared in the hit tvN K-drama Under the Queen's Umbrella with Kim Hye Soo, Kim Hae Sook, Choi Won Young, Kim Eui Sung, Moon Sang Min, and Ok Ja Yeon.
Chani made his acting debut in 2009. He started his career as a child actor and re-debuted as a member of FNC Entertainment's boy group SF9 in 2016.
The idol actor has participated in several K-dramas such as Miracle, Jinx, Imitation, Must You Go?, True Beauty, SKY Castle, Click Your Heart, Signal, The Queen's Classroom, and more.
The Love Story of Choon Hwa will revolve around Hwa Ri and her journey to finding her future husband. She will go out of the palace to meet her suitors. She will also look for the person who used her face as the character of erotic paintings.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Go Ah Sung and Chang Ryul.
Go Ah Sung will play the role of Princess Hwa Ri. She is the youngest princess of the royal family who is seeking love.
Chang Ryul will play the role of Choi Hwan. He is the topmost on the list of potential husbands for Princess Hwa Ri. He is known for being handsome and the richest merchant.
According to reports, Chani will work closely with Chang Ryul's character.
The Love Story of Choon Hwa will be directed by Lee Kwang Young and written by Seo Eun Jung. IT will be produced by Beyond J, SLL.
The upcoming TVING K-drama The Love Story of Choon Hwa will premiere in 2024.
Meanwhile, the original TVing series "Spring Flower Love Story" will be released in 2024.
