Coupang Play series Cinderella at 2 AM has released its first poster and teaser trailer.
Cinderella at 2 AM follows Yun Seo (Shin Hyun Been), a super pragmatic career woman, trying to break up with Ju Won (Moon Sang Min), who she comes to know is from a chaebol family. Yun Seo doesn't believe in fairytales and believes she can never marry someone like Ju Won because of her social status.
The poster shows Yun Seo (Shin Hyun Been) and Ju Won (Moon Sang Min) sitting on a pumpkin carriage that has lost its magic at 2 A.M. Yun Seo, having learned that Ju Won is the youngest son of a chaebol family, opts to live in her reality and separate from him, while Ju Won is determined not to let her go. The text reads, "Cinderella's breakup with her fairy tale prince after the magic has faded."
The teaser shows Ju Won, whom Yun Seo has been with for a year and a half, is the youngest son of the major shareholder of her company. Although she might become a real-life Cinderella, she resolutely decides, "A prince on a white horse is a no-go from my side."
Yun Seo's convinced choice of reality over a fairy-tale life confounds Ju Won. But he doesn't back down saying, "Deciding to break up is your freedom, but clinging is mine."
Cinderella at 2 AM will premiere on August 24. The K-drama will be available to stream on Viki. Watch the teaser here.
