Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
SHINee's Choi Min Ho is in discussion to join the upcoming K-drama Melo House.
On June 16, media outlet News1 reported that Choi Min Ho will be joining Ji Jin Hee, Kim Jee Soo, and Son Na Eun in the upcoming series titled Melo House.
Choi Min Ho's agency shared their side. According to them, Choi Min Ho did receive an offer to lead the K-drama and he is currently reviewing the offer.
If Choi Min Ho confirms his casting, this will be his first upcoming K-drama project. The idol actor last starred in the 2022 Netflix original K-drama The Fabulous together with Chae Soo Bin, Lee Sang Woon, Park Hee Jung, Shin Dong Mi, and Lee Mi Do.
Choi Min Ho will also participate in the upcoming comeback of his group SHINee which will be released on June 26.
The idol-actor is known for being part of the K-dramas Yumi's Cells, The Most Beautiful Goodbye, Hwarang, Because It's the First Time, Medical Top Team To the Beautiful You, and more. 
Melo House will be the next project of director Kim Da Ye and screenwriter Kim Young Yoon. It will depict the story of people gathering together like a family dreaming of complete love.
Ji Jin Hee will play the role of Byun Moo Jin. He is currently a building owner now but before, he got swindled and lost all his property and divorced his wife Geum Ae Yeon.
Kim Jee Soo will portray the wife of Byun Moo Jin named Geum Ae Yeon. She decided to leave and divorce her husband after his business failed. She went through hardships to raise her two children. She then will reunite with her ex-husband who's now successful and an owner of a building.
Son Na Eun will give life to the character named Byun Mi Rae. She is the eldest daughter of Byun Moo Jin. Currently, she works at a supermarket.
Choi Min Ho will be the love interest of Son Na Eun's character. Choi Min Ho will play the role of Nam Tae Pyeong. He was a member of the taekwondo national team and currently, he works as a security guard in a supermarket.
Melo House will finalize its casting and will begin filming soon.
