SISTAR's Kim Da Som confirmed to star in her second upcoming K-drama.
On April 15, media outlets reported that Kim Da Som will join the cast of the upcoming K-drama Salon De Holmes.
Kim Da Som's agency Story J confirmed that the singer-actress is starring in the upcoming K-drama Salon De Holmes.
Salon De Holmes will revolve around the housewives living in an apartment. These ladies will work together for an unsolved case. The K-drama will base its story on the bestselling novel of the same name by Jeon Geon Woo.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Min Jin Gi, the same director of the K-dramas New Recruit, When the Devil Calls Your Name, and Golden Tower.
In the series, Kim Da Som will portray the role of So Hee. She is the youngest in the Housewives Detective Team. She is a professional rider and also the one responsible for quick and accurate delivery of the neighborhood. She is also the informant of the Housewives Detective Team.
Salon De Holmes will also be led by Lee Si Young and Everglow's Kim Si Hyeon.
The upcoming K-drama will exclusively premiere on tvN. The release date is still undecided.
Aside from Salon De Holmes, Kim Da Som will also join the upcoming K-drama Is It Fate? She will work alongside Kim So Hyun, Chae Jong Hyeop, Yun Ji On, Yoon Jun Won, and Hwang Sung Bin.
Kim Da Som debuted in 2017 as a member of the K-pop girl group SISTAR. She started her acting career in 2012. She has starred in several K-dramas such as Family, Melody of Love, The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law, Band of Sisters, He Is Psychometric, Was It Love? Kokdu: Season of Deity, and more.
In 2017, SISTAR decided to part ways. Since then, Kim Da Som has been focusing on her acting career.
