Song Hye Kyo is in talks to lead a new K-drama that will be penned by That Winter, the Wind Blows writer.

On April 1, various media outlets reported that Song Hye Kyo will work with writer Noh Hee Kyung for the third time. 

Song Hye Kyo's side responded to the casting reports. According to UAA, "It is true that we received the synopsis and proposal from the production company of the upcoming K-drama. We are positively reviewing it."

The upcoming K-drama will be a modern historical series that will showcase the happenings in the entertainment industry. The K-drama will revolve around people who went through a historical tunnel and experienced the reality of South Korea's broadcast industry. 

The new K-drama will be penned by Noh Hee Kyung who is known for creating the K-dramas Our Blues, Live, Dear My Friends, It's Okay, That's Love, and more. 

If Song Hye Kyo decides to join the new K-drama, this will be her third time working with the writer. The two last collaborated in the 2013 series That Winter, the Wind Blows. They also worked in the 2008 K-drama The World That They Live In.

This upcoming K-drama will possibly be her follow-up K-drama project after the hit Netflix original K-drama The Glory. She will also make a special cameo appearance in the upcoming K-drama Everything Will Come True to support writer  Kim Eun Sook.

Aside from K-dramas, Song Hye Kyo will also make a grand comeback in the upcoming movie Dark Nuns with Jeon Yeo Been, Lee Jin Wook, Heo Joon Ho, and Moon Woo Jin.

Song Hye Kyo is known for leading hit K-dramas such as The Glory, Descendants of the SunThat Winter, the Wind Blows, The World That They Live In, Full House, and more.
