Jang Dong Yoon offered to star in the Korean remake of French drama "Mantis"
Song Joong Ki showed his loyalty to actress Han Hyo Joo.
On June 12, media outlets reported that Song Joong Ki will make a special cameo appearance in the Netflix original series Romantic Anonymous. It was also reported that the top actor already filmed for his cameo appearance in Japan.
With this, Song Joong Ki's agency HighZium Studio shared their side. The label confirmed that Song Joong Ki will be making a special appearance in the series that will be led by Han Hyo Joo and Japanese actor Oguri Shun.
This year, Song Joong Ki also made a cameo appearance in the hit K-drama Queen of Tears. He became a scene stealer in the series when he appeared together with main leads Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won. He also made fans happy by returning to his character as Vincenzo Cassano.
Song Joong Ki is set to lead the upcoming melodrama K-drama My Youth. It will be the next work of director Lee Sang Yeob (Yumi's Cells) and writer Park Shi Hyun (Run On).
The top actor is known for leading the K-dramas Reborn Rich, Vincenzo, Arthdal Chronicles, Descendants of the Sun, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and more.
Romantic Anonymous will tell the story of a man and a woman who fell for each other because of their mutual love and interest in chocolate. The twist is that the man and woman both suffer from anxiety disorder. The man can't physically touch others while the woman is afraid of eye contact making their relationship challenging. It will base its story on the French Film Les Émotifs anonymes which was released in 2010
Aside from Han Hyo Joo and Oguri Shun, the Netflix series will also be led by Akanishi Jin and Nakamura Yuri.
Romantic Anonymous will be the joint production of a Japanese and Korean company.
