Song Joong Ki is confirmed to make a special appearance in the upcoming tvN weekend drama Queen of Tears.
An official from his agency, HighZium Studio, told MyDaily on February 23, "It is confirmed that Song Joong Ki will make a special appearance in Queen of Tears."
Queen of Tears tells the story of Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won), the daughter of the family that runs Queens Group, and Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun), her husband and the legal director of Queens Group.
The drama revolves around the couple and the challenges they face in their third year of marriage.
Reports indicate that Song Joong Ki has chosen to make a special appearance in Queen of Tears, considering he co-starred with the female lead, Kim Ji Won, in Descendants of the Sun and Arthdal Chronicles.
Moreover, in 2022, Kim Ji Won signed an exclusive contract with Song Joong Ki's agency, High Zium Studio.
Queen of Tears is set to premiere on March 9. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix.
