Song Seung Heon is in talks to join Kim Woo Bin and Esom for the upcoming Netflix original series "Courier"

Several reports circulated on November 5th that Song Seung Heon got selected to join the upcoming drama "Courier."

Song Seung Heon's management company King Kong by Starship responded to the reports and told media outlet Newsen that the actor did receive the casting offer and he is reviewing it.

"Courier" will be the latest work of director Cho Eui Seok ( "Master" and "Cold Eyes"). The drama will be based on a webtoon with the same name. It will narrate the story of an era wherein air pollution has become severe and people eventually rely heavily on delivery services. 

Kim Woo Bin will be playing the role of "5-8", a refugee and also the first-ever delivery driver. Esom will portray the role of a soldier who's aiming to become the Minister of National Defense named Seol Ah. Song Seung Heon got the offer to play the role of Ryu Seok. He's the only son of Chun Myung Group and will be the villain of the drama.

"Courier" will exclusively be available on the global streaming platform Netflix.

If Song Seung Heon accepts the drama, this will be his first-ever Netflix project. The top actor last starred in the 2021 hit drama "Voice 4: Judgment Hour" with Lee Ha Na, Son Eun Seo, Baek Sung Hyun, Winner's Kang Seung Yoon, and more. He played as Derek Joe, a team leader from the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) in the drama. 

Song Seung Heon debuted as an actor in 1996. He was part of the dramas "East of Eden," "Summer Scent," "Autumn Tale," "My Princess," "Saimdang, Light’s Diary," "Black," "Dinner Mate," and more.
