"Squid Game Season 2" Kim Shi Eun in talks to lead the K-drama "Knock Off" with Kim Soo Hyun

Kim Shi Eun will possibly be the leading lady of Kim Soo Hyun in the upcoming K-drama Knock Off.

According to an exclusive report of OSEN on April 1, it was revealed that Kim Shi Eun will reportedly be the other main lead of the upcoming K-drama Knock Off. In late March, there were reports that labelmate Kim Soo Hyun will be leading the series. According to his agency, the top actor is positively reviewing the offer. 

Kim Shi Eun's agency Gold Medalist responded to the casting reports. According to them, "Kim Shi Eun is positively considering the offer to appear in Knock Off."

Knock-Off will be the collaboration work of director Park Hyun Suk who also created the hit K-dramas Uncontrollably Fond and Stranger Season 2. 

There is no official confirmation yet on the release date of the upcoming K-drama. Knock Off will reportedly premiere on Disney+. SLL and Arc Media will produce the upcoming K-drama.

If Kim Shi Eun confirms her casting, this will be her second upcoming K-drama. 

Kim Shi Eun is also set to join the much anticipated Netflix original K-drama Squid Game Season 2. She will work alongside  Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, and Yang Dong Geun.

The actress made her acting debut in 2013. She became more known through the 2022 K-movie Next Sohee. She worked alongside Bae Doo Na, Shim Hee Sub, Choi Hee Jin, Baek Woo Young, and Song Yo Sep.

Kim Shi Eun has starred in the K-dramas Mental Coach Jegal, Brain, Your Choice of Romance Season 2, Run On, CHIP-IN, Special Labor Inspector Jo, When Time Stopped, and more.
