"Chief Detective 1958" Climbs Back to Double-Digit Ratings
MBN's upcoming weekend mini-series Missing Crown Prince released its third teaser featuring Suho, Hong Ye Ji, Myung Se Bin, Kim Joo Heon, and Kim Min Kyu.
Missing Crown Prince tells the story of Crown Prince Yi Gun (Suho) getting kidnapped by Choi Myung Yoon (Hong Ye Ji), who will marry him.
The teaser begins by showing chaos unfolding within the palace due to the assassins' infiltrating it. Crown Prince Lee Geon (Suho) says, "Do you not know they are after me?!"
Then, King Hae Jong (Jeon Jin Oh) is shown bleeding, and the royal physician Choi Sang Rok (Kim Joo Heon) faces attacks from the assassins.
Facing his opponent, Lee Geon bursts out in anger, saying, "Do you think your treachery will be forgiven?" Then, as he is being dragged away, a voice asks, "What do you mean he's now a dethroned prince?"
Choi Sang Rok says, "If you want to have my [daughter] Choi Myung Yoon, become the prince." The following scene shows Prince Do Sung (Kim Min Kyu), with tears streaming down his face, saying, "People I respect may die because of me."
Then, Myung Yoon is shown holding someone covered in blood, exclaiming, "Because of my fate, I, too, maybe the cause of the deaths of the innocent."
The teaser then shows Lee Geon revealing his wounded body covered in bandages, saying, "This is the result of trusting someone I've never doubted in my dreams." He makes a resolute decision, saying, "I will definitely seek revenge," and the rebels fear, "If the Crown Prince returns, we may all die."
Towards the end of the teaser, Lee Geon, dressed in royal attire and standing in the palace, declares, "I am the Prince of Joseon!"
