Scheduled to premiere on August 4th at 10 p.m., The First Responders Season 2 portrays the upgraded collaboration between firefighters, police officers, and the National Center for Crime and Scientific Investigation as they face unprecedented and challenging cases involving fires, crimes, and evidence collection.

Above all, The First Responders Season 2 is highly anticipated as a follow-up to The First Responders Season 1, which established a new paradigm for "K-Action" and was regarded as one of the most anticipated works for the second half of 2023. In particular, Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun, and Gong Seung Yeon, who received praise for their character-driven performances in Season 1, will again showcase even more delicate and multidimensional acting in Season 2.

Today, the unveiled character posters featuring Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun, and Gong Seung Yeon as the central "Triangle Collaboration" figures hint at their spectacular performance.

Firstly, Kim Rae Won's character, Jin Ho Gae, captures attention as he sternly stares back with a fierce expression against the backdrop of a police car. The poster reveals Jin Ho Gae's obsessive pursuit of arrests, showcasing his determination as a detective through his sharp gaze. Expectations rise as Jin Ho Gae, who evolved from a "crazy dog" to an even more determined investigator, displays his powerful resolve.

Next, Son Ho Jun's character, Bong Do Jin, gazes seriously straight ahead against the backdrop of a firetruck. The poster highlights Bong Do Jin's newfound composure, hinting at his curiosity. Whether the "Bulldozer" Bong Do Jin, who has always been charismatic in front of fires, will overcome another crisis and become the "Master of Fire."

Lastly, Gong Seung Yeon's character, Song Seol, in a paramedic uniform, elevates the tension as she carefully observes her surroundings with a radio. The poster showcases Song Seol as a "super empathetic paramedic" who never lets her guard down, even in the most precarious situations. Viewers are curious to see if Song Seol, who actively cooperated in "Mission Assistance" for the patients even during high-risk moments, will continue her fantastic chemistry with the firefighters, police officers, and the National Center for Crime and Scientific Investigation in Season 2.

The production team stated, "In 'The First Responders Season 1,' Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun, and Gong Seung Yeon received enthusiastic support for their lifelike and heroic performances. In Season 2, they will display even more powerful collaboration while chasing down serial arsonists. We hope viewers will look forward to the fantastic chemistry among the three as leaders of the 'Triangle Collaboration,' which brings together firefighters, police officers, and the National Center for Crime and Scientific Investigation."

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama The First Responders Season 2, also known as "The Police Station Next to the Fire Station and the National Center for Crime and Scientific Investigation," is set to premiere on August 4th at 10 PM KST, following the conclusion of "Revenant."
