"Chief Detective 1958" Climbs Back to Double-Digit Ratings
South Korea's heartthrob Park Seo Joon has certainly come a long way since his debut in 2012 with Dream High Season 2. Over the past ten years, he has gained popularity not only in South Korea but also in countries around the world. And he continues to do so with his upcoming projects. For this year alone, Park Seo Joon has five projects lined up.
He is starting the year with his upcoming variety show Jinny's Kitchen, alongside Choi Woo Shik, V, Lee Seo Jin, and Jung Yu Mi. He is the general manager and chef who will cook and serve customers in Mexico. He has previously participated in the series' prequels Youn's Stay and Youn's Kitchen 2.
His other upcoming works include the original Netflix historical action thriller Gyeongseong Creature which will be released in 190 countries around the world. Joining him in the K-drama is the star-studded cast consisting of Han So Hee, Wi Ha Joon, Kim Su Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, and Jo Han Chul.
Park Seo Joon also has the comedy-drama film Dream releasing this year in which he will be seen alongside IU. Apart from Dream, he also has the disaster thriller Concrete Utopia - also starring Park Bo Young and Lee Byung Hun - lined up. The release date of the movie is not yet confirmed.
If that isn't all, apart from Korean movies and shows, Park Seo Joon will also be seen in the Hollywood movie The Marvels alongside the Hollywood stars Brie Larson and Iman Vellani, among others. The superhero film will be released on November 10, 2023 (USA).
The talented actor certainly has a lot on his plate. He will also be visiting Malaysia on February 25 due to endless pictorial requests, advertisement proposals for global brands, etc.
