Jung Yi Rang to work alongside Super Junior's Choi Si Won and Jung In Sun in "DNA Lovers"
Lee Byung Hun, Cha Seung Won, Kim Woo Bin, Shin Min Ah, Han Ji Min and more will reportedly star in the upcoming drama "Our Blues”
Reports circulated on April 20 that writer Noh Hee Kyung's newly written drama "Our Blues" will have top stars as part of the cast. The drama will have 20 episodes and it will be directed by Kim Kyu Tae who also worked with No Hee Kyung in dramas like "That Winter, The Wind Blows,” "Live,” and "The World That They Live In.”
Writer No Hee Kyung originally planned to have Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Shin Min Ah, Bae Sung Woo and Nam Joo Hyuk in her upcoming drama "Here,” but because of the COVID-19 situation, it got postponed. The upcoming drama needs to be filmed outside the country because the plot revolves around an NGO, an International non profit private organization. With this, the writer came up with a new drama titled "Our Blues" and proposed it to the said actors.
Reports stated that actors Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Shin Min Ah, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun and Kim Woo Bin easily agreed to the writer's new drama proposal.
Real life couple Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah responded to the reports through their agency AM Entertainment and shared that their artists are currently reviewing the drama offer.
For the upcoming drama, real lovers Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah will not pair up. Lee Byung Hun will be paired with Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin with Han Ji Min, and Cha Seung Won with Lee Jung Eun.
"Our Blues" aims to start filming in the second half of the year.
