Upcoming K-drama "Nine Puzzle" will reportedly have start studded cameo appearances

The upcoming thriller mystery K-drama Nine Puzzle will reportedly have star-studded cameo appearances.

On January 25, media outlet OSEN revealed that top actors Hwang Jung Min, Lee Sung Min, Lee Hee Joon, and Kim Ye Won will reportedly make a cameo appearance in the upcoming K-drama Nine Puzzle that will be led by Kim Da Mi and Son Seok Koo.

According to reports, the top actors will be making a special appearance because of their relationship with the director of the K-drama, Yoon Jong Bin.  

Hwang Jung Min worked with the director through the K-drama Narco-Saints and The Spy Gone North. Lee Sung Min was part of the director's films KUNDO: Age of the Rampant and The Spy Gone North. Lee Hee Joon worked with the director through Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time, and Kim Ye Won was also part of the cast of Narco-Saints.

Meanwhile, according to the actors' representatives, they received the offer to make a special cameo appearance in Nine Puzzle and they are currently discussing it.

Nine Puzzle will revolve around Yi Na who was accused of murdering her beloved uncle. After ten years, she becomes a profiler and seeks the truth about the murder with her accuser, police officer Han Saem. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Yoon Jong Bin and writer Lee Eun Mi (Navillera and Tunnel). This will be the second K-drama project of director Yoon Jong Bin who's known for creating box office films. 

Kim Da Mi will portray the role of Yi Na, the person who is the suspect in her uncle's murder. 10 years later, she became a profiler to find out the truth. 

Son Seok Koo will play the character named Han Saem, a police officer who accused Yi Na of being the suspect in the murder case. 

Nine Puzzle will be produced by Kakao Entertainment. The production team is currently in discussion on when and where the K-drama will be released.
