Upcoming Netflix original series "Song of the Bandits" announces its official cast!

The new Netflix drama "Song of the Bandits" has officially revealed the actors that will lead the series. 

On March 14th Netflix revealed the main cast of their new original series titled  "Song of the Bandits." The drama will be led by Kim Nam Gil, Girls Generation's Seo Hyun, Yoo Jae Myung, Lee Hyun Wook, and Lee Ho Jung. 

"Song of the Bandits" is an action drama set in the 1920s. It will be a collaboration work of director Hwang Joon Hyuk ("Black Dog" and "Twenty Years Old") and writer Han Jung Hoon ("Bad Guys: City of Evil" and "Missing 9").

The upcoming series is set in the 1920s during the Japanese colonial period. The drama will tell the stories of people who have been deprived of their homes and livelihoods and how they will do everything just for their families, colleagues, and the Joseon people. 

"Song of the Bandits" will exclusively air on Netflix. There's no official information yet on when the series will premiere. 

Kim Nam Gil will play the role of Lee Yoon. He is a former Japanese soldier who left everything so that he can protect the land and its people. 

Seo Hyun will play the role of Nam Hee Shin, the director of the railway bureau at the  Governor-General of the Joseon Dynasty. She hides her true identity. 

Yoo Jae Myung will be the former medical officer and a landlord in Joseon village named Choi Choong Soo.

Lee Hyun Wook will play the character named Lee Kwang Il. he is a Japanese military official who has a bad relationship with Lee Yoon. 

Lee Ho Jung will play the role of Eon Nyeon Yi, a gunman who's about to head to Gando.
