“The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” Issues Apology after Viewers Point Out the DUI Scene
Woo Do Hwan is in discussion to lead the upcoming movie Tropical Night.
On October 23, media outlets reported that Woo Do Hwan has been picked to lead the upcoming movie Tropical Night which will be directed by Kim Pan Soo (The Man Standing Next and Forbidden Dream). According to reports, Woo Do Hwan is positively considering the offer to lead the film.
Tropical Night will be the next film that will be produced by Hive and Media Corp, the same producer of the hit films Inside Men, The Last Princess, The Drug King, and more. It was also revealed that the upcoming movie will be filmed in different locations in Thailand.
The production team of Tropical Night hasn't revealed other casts of the upcoming movie as well as its exact premiere date.
If Woo Do Hwan confirms his casting, this will be his first time to be the lead of a film.
Woo Do Hwan is currently busy filming for the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Mr. Plankton. He will be working with Lee You Mi, Oh Jung Se, Kim Hae Sook, and Kim Min Seok.
For this year, Woo Do Hwan has been very active in the K-drama scene. He starred in the series Joseon Attorney: A Morality and Bloodhounds. He also made a special appearance in the K-drama Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2 to support his friend Kim Min Jae.
Early this year, the actor also made a special appearance in the film My Heart Puppy.
If Woo Do Hwan officially joins Tropical Night, this will be his grand comeback to the big screen. He last appeared in the 2019 movie The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful.
Since his debut, Woo Do Hwan has been active in both K-dramas and films. He was part of the movies The Divine Fury, Master, Operation Chromite, and Let's Go To Rose Motel.
