Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Yang Kyung Won will be joining the upcoming drama "Recipe for Farewell."
On October 4th, it was confirmed that Yang Kyung Won will be joining Han Seok Kyu in the upcoming Watcha original drama "Recipe for Farewell."
"Recipe for Farewell" is about a husband who cooks for his terminally ill wife. The wife has difficulties eating because of her digestive problem and asked her husband to cook for her every day. The husband agreed even though he only knows how to cook ramen. The upcoming series will be depicted from the non-fiction novel by Kang Chang Rae.
The upcoming series will be led by Han Seok Kyu, Kim Seo Hyung, and Jin Ho Eun. It will be produced by Ace Maker Movie Works and Beyond J.
Han Seok Kyu will play the role of Kang Chang Rae. He is a translator and a humanities instructor. Kim Seo Hyung will play the role of Da Jung, the wife of Kang Chang Rae. She is suffering from terminal bowel cancer. Jin Ho Eun will play as Kang Jae Ho, the son of Kang Chang Rae and Da Jung.
Yang Kyung Won will join the drama as Yang Soo Won, the shameless employee of an organic mart that Kang Chang Rae goes to. He is very chatty which makes the customers line up and get delayed. He is generous and shares all his know-how with the customers.
"Recipe for Farewell" will officially premiere this December. The drama will also be revealed at Busan International Film Festival.
This drama will be the next project of the actor for 2022. He last starred in the MBC series "Big Mouth" with Lee Jong Suk, Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah, Kim Joo Heon, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Ok Ja Yeon.
Yang Kyung Won is known for being part of the dramas "One Ordinary Day," "Vincenzo," "Arthdal Chronicles Part 1: The Children of Prophecy," "Crash Landing on You," and more.
He is currently signed under History D&C Entertainment together with "Vincenzo" and "Big Mouth" co-stars Lee Jong Suk and Song Joong Ki.
