Choi Kwang Il joins Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin in a new K-drama
Yoon Park and Girls Day's Park So Jin will reunite for the third time in a new K-drama.
On August 7, Coupang Play released the first still cuts of Yoon Park and Park So Jin confirming that the two will be part of the upcoming K-drama Cinderella at 2 AM.
This will be the third time Yoon Park and Park So Jin will work together. Last year, the two starred in the K-drama Delightfully Deceitful with main leads Chun Woo Hee and Kim Dong Wook. They also appeared together in the movie Swallow with actor Woo Ji Hyun.
Cinderella at 2 AM will be the year's second official K-drama project for Yoon Park. Early this year, he appeared in the K-drama Doctor Slump starring Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye. He also recently made a special appearance in the finale episode of Miss Night and Day.
Meanwhile, this K-drama will be the follow-up K-drama project of Park So Jin after Delightfully Deceitful aside from this upcoming K-drama, Park So Jin will also appear in the film MORA with Lee Dong Hwi, Han Ji Eun, Kang Shin Il, and Cha Mi Kyung.
Cinderella at 2 AM will be led by Shin Hyun Been and Moon Sang Min.
The K-drama will tell the story of a successful career woman who is not good at dating and a conglomerate man who hides his identity as a regular employee at his mother's company. The story will be based on the webtoon of the same name by Algome.
Director Seo Min Jung (Bo Ra! Deborah) and writer Oh Eun Ji (Ugly Miss Young Ae) will work together to create the romance K-drama.
Yoon Park will portray the role of Seo Si Won. He is the older brother of Moon Sang Min's character Seo Ju Won. He is the eldest son of the conglomerate family who lives a single life due to her wife who is assigned to an overseas branch. He faces a crisis as his wife suddenly returns to Korea.
Park So Jin will portray the role of Lee Mi Jin, the wife of Yoon Park's character Seo Si Won. She is a hot influencer who is loved by the public for her display of luxury life on social media. She returns home to her husband after getting appointed to a branch in Korea.
The two act as a political marriage couple but when the two have to be together in Korea, they will find themselves attracted to each other.
Cinderella at 2 AM will officially premiere on August 24. Episodes will be released on Coupang Play every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM KST while the episodes will air on Channel A at 9:20 PM KST.
