No Sang Bo confirmed to star in the Disney+ original K-drama "Uncle Samsik"
Yoon Se Ah will officially join the upcoming K-drama Perfect Family.
On August 10th, it was officially confirmed that Yoon Se Ah will be reuniting with Kim Byung Chul in the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Perfect Family. Park Ju Hyun is also in talks to join. She will reportedly replace Jung Ji So in the upcoming K-drama.
This will be the comeback of Yoon Se Ah to the K-drama world after two years. She last starred in the 2021 K-drama Snowdrop with Jung Hae In, BLACKPINK's Kim Ji Soo, Jang Seung Jo, Yoo In Na, and Kim Hye Yoon. This K-drama will also be her reunion with Kim Byung Chul after five years. The two were a married couple in the hit 2018 K-drama SKY Castle. Yoon Se Ah is known for being part of the K-dramas Melting Me Softly, Just Between Lovers, Stranger, Gu Family Book, A Gentleman's Dignity, and more.
Meanwhile, this will possibly be the second upcoming K-drama of Park Ju Hyun. The actress will also star in the series Newsletter and the films You Will Die After Six Hours and Drive.
Perfect Family will revolve around Choi Seon Hee's family who's seemingly perfect and happy but faces a big trial after her friend Kyung Ho dies one day. The upcoming K-drama will be based on the webtoon of the same name written by Nyangpa and illustrated by Joo Eun.
It will be the first Korean production of director Yukisada Isao who's known for helming the popular Japanese movie Crying Out Love, in the Center of the World.
Yoon Se Ah will play the role of Ha Eun Joo. She is a full-time housewife. She decided to adopt and raise Choi Seon Hee after his son died due to an unexpected accident. She will do everything to protect her adopted daughter.
Perfect Family will reportedly premiere through a global OTT platform.
