Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
The upcoming tvN's drama "Yumi's Cells 2" is confirmed to premiere next month.
On May 6th, tvN unveiled new character posters of main leads Kim Go Eun and GOT7's Park Jin Young. The poster also confirmed that the second season will start airing on June 10th. It was also hinted that the cells of Park Jin Young's characters have as many charms as Yumi's love cell.
In the poster of Kim Go Eun's character, it was stated that she's a woman who wants to get to know more while Park Jin Young's character is a man who's ready for a new beginning. The poster is hinting of the fluttering connection between the two.
"Yumi's Cells 2" will still continue to base its story on the popular webtoon of the same name by Lee Dong Geon. The new season will showcase the maturity and courage of Yumi as she breaks up with Goo Woong with the help of Yoo Babi. The series will also revolve around Yumi's love and dreams.
The first season of the drama showcased the growth of Yumi as she dated and parted with Gu Woong, played by Ahn Bo Hyun. For the next season, a new chapter in Yumi's life will be open as she begins a new journey with Yoo Babi.
The upcoming drama will be led by Kim Go Eun, Park Jin Young, Lee Yoo Bi, Park Ji Hyun, and more.
"Yumi's Cells 2" will premiere on June 10th. It will have a total of 14 episodes. The series will exclusively premiere on tvN and TVING.
This will be one of the upcoming dramas of Kim Go Eun. The actress will also lead the upcoming series "Little Women" with Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, Wi Ha Joon, Uhm Ji Won, and Uhm Ki Joon. She will also join the upcoming movie "Hero."
Meanwhile, this will be the first drama of Park Jin Young for 2022. He will also lead the upcoming series "The Witch." He started the year with the film "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations."
