➸Set to air in 2025. In December 2024, the show obtained a distribution license with a number of episodes reduced from 40 to 34 episodes. "Reportedly it will be broadcast  on CCTV1 primetime channel and also be watched online on YOUKU, IQIYI, TENCENTVIDEO, AND Mango TV. "

On March 14, 2024, a press conference was held at the Macau University of Science and Technology for the key TV series "Macau Youth" to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Macau's return to the motherland. The play is jointly produced by Zhejiang Film and Television (Group) Co., Ltd., China TV Drama Production Center Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Aihu Media and others. The drama is included in a trilogy of dramas focusing on Macau, which includes 燦爛的風和海 (Begin Again) another drama aired in December 2024, that features Elvis Han.

Filming was done over 3 1/2 months (100 days) from mid May 2024 to end of August in Foshan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Macau.

MDL Synopsis (I am not sure it is correct, in view of the further below info .....) : Chen Da Nian, Guan Xin, and He Jia Jun have been like brothers since childhood. After graduating from high school, they devoted themselves to scientific research and jointly developed an exoskeleton robot, winning the championship in the national competition. Guan Xin worked at promoting Chinese opera;  Guan Wen promoted Macau's specialty medicines to the mainland market; A Sheng continued to improve his cooking skills to realize his life dream of becoming a chef. 

Drama concept : "As a key TV series dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Macau's return to the motherland, and the finale of the "Trilogy of the Era of the Greater Bay Area" the TV series "Macau Youth" uses  "small people" to focus on the spirit of struggle, innovative thinking and romantic feelings of Macau and the whole country. The beginning : "Lin Yue, played by Wu Xuanyi, appeared energetically on the opening day of the University of Macau in a neat sportswear. Her eyes were full of longing for the palace of knowledge and ardent expectations for the future. She was walking through the campus tree-lined streets, holding a brand new textbook tightly in her hands, her hair ruffling in the breeze, looking youthful and agile. Lin Yue grew up in an old neighborhood of Macau. The Cantonese opera singing in the neighborhood and the aroma of Portuguese tarts in the streets all combined to weave her pyrotechnic childhood. However, her ordinary family background did not restrain her from pursuing her dreams. She was admitted to the University of Macau with excellent results and majored in cultural heritage protection, determined to do her best to protect the precious cultural treasures of her hometown. [...]" 

Su Ran, played by Zhao Zhiwei, coming from a wealthy family, was attracted to finances and classroom debate; he became friends with Lin Yue after listening to her presentation of the Macau's historical building repair and protection plan. As a cutural festival was nearing, they joined hands to investigate the situation about old craftsmen abandoning their arts, conservative people viewing money and traditions as incompatible and other hurdles to revitalize the sector ; Su Ran invested after convinving his family, and eventually they reaped success.  (adapted from Sohu.com)
