Actually I put The Legend of Shen Li on hold twice before finally dropped it at episode 32, but I'll try to continue it one day for lovely Zhao Li Ying. While Fangs of Fortune has its weaknesses (slow talkers, dramatic effects, bad pale make up that's so thick that it cracked, dark setting-not as dark as Guo Jing Ming's previous drama; My Journey to You; but still dark, bad ending, many deaths, and no couple made in the end), it also has its strength (playful leads, meaningful dialogues, great all bad ending love stories/friendship of the villains, visuals haven, great CGI, comedic interaction between leads, and interesting characters with background story) but I agree it's not for everyone.
Eternal Love (a must-watch, a tragic love story between the two leads in - adapted from Three Worlds, Three Lives, Ten Miles of Peach Blossom - various worlds and races (including ML's embryo shape I think) while also have some side romance/unrequited love from some supporting character for example FL's niece Bai Feng Jiu with Donghua Dijun who have their own drama: the sequel, Eternal Love of Dream which I dropped-also adapted from novel, both novels are also a must-read)
Love and Redemption (a must-watch, a bittersweet love story where the leads has connection from 10 or 11? reincarnations with ML always died because of FL, it goes back a long time ago when the two still live in Heaven where ML the dragon ah you can just watch it)
The Untamed (a must-watch, as it's a censored adaptation: the tragic bromance between two leads where the soul of dead MC enters the body of a person who summoned him for revenge where MC from then on starts meeting familiar faces be it friends or foes while also unintentionally take revenge for the person whose body he takeover who (the villain, not the body) actually also caused the whole tragedy for a lot of people including him, the novel is also a must-read if you don't mind BL)
