I am on chapter 157 and the Old Madam, Jiang Chang Yang's Grandma is so messed up I want to smack her silly! I am so glad Jiang Chang Yang's mom was a brave woman and decided to leave these people to their own mess. Usually when I read about characters like these, I always wonder what goes on in their head and reading about what actually does makes me so frustrated. It is always the case of pot calling the kettle black. The audacity!

I know that this isn't related to their love story, but since you guys have read the book I thought you might feel the same way about her.

Regarding the romance, I am not even halfway through the book and I feel it has a same vibe as that couple in Dream of Splendor. I love steady and warm romances with the leads having each other's back.

Ohh yeah, the grandmother was such an annoying character that sometimes I felt like punching her, and I'm so happy that Chang yang and Mulan always seem to make her so angry and pissed every time. His mum is a brave woman and I'm happy she didn't settle for less, was brave enough to move out with him and now has found the love of her life and living happily

I feel that Liu Chang & Jiang Zhong (Chang Yang's bio dad) are made out of the same moulds. They don't understand monogamy or even love well. Liu Chang is such a sucker, he never loved anyone, nor did he care for the poor child that was murdered by the princess. ( I don't know how they are going to handle Liu Chang's character, he is hateful and I wonder if Wei Zhe Ming will be able to pull it off)

I am still halfway in the book and wondering if it is ever explained what happened to the original Mudan and who is the one who is currently inhabiting her body living her life. They have given a bit information like how her dad remarried when her mom died.

I don't think they are the same, cause Jiang Zhong is still wayy better morally than Liu Chang.

I also hope Wei zhiming does him justice.

P.S I'm a few chapters away from the end so I also wonder how he will end up
