Have you never been to the bathroom? How can it not be a place? I try to participate and play fair, then my humble choice is deemed erroneous. I am a bit embarrassed that I have to type all of this to explain myself. A simple online search would have told you what everyone else here knows (like literally everyone else). It is a place. If you want to apologize, I would consider accepting it provisionally.
