I just binged the whole thing since each episode is about 6 minutes long. I enjoyed it for what it was. It is clearly made on a limited budget, and the writing is not the best but I still enjoyed all the sweet little moments and I enjoyed it for the most part.

Because it is playing on a short-form app; so may not be accepted here on MDL, like a lot of these short-form dramas.

Great attitude! I'll do my best as well, even feeling that it may not reach the same level. I just have to keep my prejudices in check when it comes to J-dramas in general. lol

One concern I have about this compressed remake is how comprehensible it would be to viewers who don't know the original

I guess they'll just get an abbreviated version and won't know the diff!! And maybe many will want to watch the original series afterwards.

I watched Why R U? Thai first.  I didn't care as much for the K-remake, and I usually really like K-BLs a lot.

There is a youtube channel called Alwayz Shortdrama that posts a lot of these short-form dramas in batches of 5 episodes. It might be posted there.

Short-forms are like reels or Tiktoks. A lot of apps are now putting out their own BL dramas. There's been quite a few out of China, and SK of late. On some you can watch ads to earn points to watch for free; on others you need to subscribe.

Match Play will air on the VIGLOO app.

J-Dramas can be really good but sometimes they miss the mark which is so annoying. I like watching a lot of the shoujo manga that get live actions normally and they have been really cute but some have hurt me so badly because wtf was that. 

I’m also trying to keep an open mind with LITA-J like you said.  I also don’t see it reaching the same level but I hope it does well. 

I know I have to keep some things in check in my head when it comes to all of because they are some differences when it comes to how Japanese dramas are filmed vs Thai BL are filmed.

I have catch up to episode 7 of Kidnap the series and one thing I will say is I really enjoy about Ohm & Leng being paired up together. 

  1. aesthetically they look good together
  2. They also have really good chemistry.

Now tell me why I want them in a college atmosphere kind of like the drama perfect 10 liners or we are and it just be a romcom l and one of them has to be an engineering student.

I will never say no to an engineering student trope because every time they pull up, the gear is always fun and it hits. I have no shame in that.

Bad Guy My Boss - episode 8

Elyes & Pat are like fungus. They have grown on me and I now, dare I say, love them lol.

Elyes is petty with a capital "P" and I love it!

Pat's ex is just shameless and has no class like when school is on break. She needs to give up because there is no relationship here only an ex relation; the ship is elsewhere sailing. Matter of fact Elyes' ship is currently docking in Pat's port; can I get an amen somebody!

She is home wrecking. When a man does it we call him a dog but in this case she is the dog so she is a bitch. 

She has the audacity to get mad because Pat does not give her attention which she does not deserve. Dis dutty gyal! She brite and outa orda. She fi go look up inna har trecht out m..........Let me calm down.

As you can see I am ready to ride at dawn for Elyes and Pat. 

Pat is the other fool among us at this point. If I could I would slap some sense into him through the screen!

Then the writers try to redeem her ass with her giving vital info. I do not give a damn!

Oh! They have me so mad! I cannot even say the words I want to say because this is a public domain and I want you guys to still think I am civilised.

The ending is diabolical and that preview already has me cussing.

All to say I am living for this episode's drama and I look forward to the next.
