BL Drama Lovers Club

Last night (meaning at about after 2 am) I started Perfect 10 Liners which I had initially planned to start right after I wrapped up Bad Guy My Boss. 

The first episode hooked me. I love what I am seeing so far which took me by surprise since I went in with low expectations because I am not a big fan of ForceBook, so maybe this series will change that.

I realised recently that I oftentimes talk about my love for Until We Meet Again and other series but I have neglected share my love for Tharntype which is one of those series that made a huge impact on my growing love for BL at the time. From the story to the individual characters, I love everything about it.

When Tharntype just came out and was in its glory days it was THE series to watch. I mean how many other series get 2 seasons with special episodes each. However as time passes it has become somewhat hated and criticised for whatever reasons fans have, but my love for it has not changed lol. 

My most re-watched scene out of all the BLs I have watched is their confession scene in episode 6. I know the dialogue in that scene word for word. All their couple scenes just warms my heart. One of my favourites has to be when Tharn sang the OST to Type in the bar in the finale; the eye contact during that performance was everything. They truly looked in love; props to the actors Mew and Gulf.

Speaking of Gulf who played Type, I remember when I first saw him I legit thought the man looked ethereal. Not handsome or hot just ethereal. I may have had a crush not going to lie lol. Now the effect has worn off lol.

Type remains one of my most loved characters because he gave no Fs and was that bitch lol. He was foul mouthed and that made him even more relatable to me.

All to say I love this series very much.

And also today's episode of "Your Sky" and the final episode of "Love Sick 2024", both of which have likewise turned out to be so unexpectedly, wonderfully good. Since Mandee hasn't always delivered to expectations, I'm so pleased that they didn't mess up on "Your Sky".

In retrospect, I can see how clever Domundi/Mandee were in setting up the ships. Thomas and Kong are soooo good - and although Auau/Save and Por/Teetee have yet to really prove their acting abilities, I'm pretty much in love with them, too.

Right! I haven’t loved anything from dmd since maybe Bed Friend’s, and I only watched the rest because I like their actors, so I’m really happy Your Sky turned out so good!

I’m hoping we get book 2 (My Moon, Pun Lee’s and Klaijai’s love story) as PorTeeTee’s drama ;;

And of course there's a ton where everyone is hyper-focused on the Ohm & Nanon interactions. Which all things considered was nice to see.

I understand their fans' deep intense passion for them, but it's sad to see they have gotten really out of pocket and ugly with their obsession with them which sucks. That said, it's nice to see them both interacting positively together with some good-natured sportsmanship.

Bad Buddy was one of my earlier BLs when I first discovered all the current productions that have been made in the last 3-4 years. It really was one of the best, a favorite I can rewatch over and over, and a very formative series for me for the modern genre. It's a pair and a series that I will definitely cherish always. I'm happy to see Ohm with Leng too.

Funny that u mention that cuz I just saw a reel on ig about OhmNanon’s “reunion” and the comments were all saying the same thing u said about how some of the fans have taken it too far and stuff
