What's the last Japanese food you had?

Took a few friends to one of my regular rotation places: Fujiyama Texas.

Simmered beef and tofu. New on the menu, really tasty.

Gotta get all the kushikatsu. My faves are shumai, onion, and mushroom.

Also gotta get dessert, which is always Twinkie kushikatsu and vanilla ice cream. For some reason, my friends don't exactly respond in a positive manner when they see this. My siblings, OTOH, *love* it.
