RIP Kanda Sayaka

It continues: another apparent celebrity suicide in Japan. I never thought of her as being close to an A-list celebrity and yet was very surprised to see the number of projects to her name and amount of work she was doing at the present time. She appeared adjusted even being the only child of a very famous marriage (and subsequent divorce). Man, you never can tell.

And it's brutal that both Seiko and Masaki Kanda have to appear in front of dozens of flashbulbs, in the depths of grief. But I suppose it's the business they both signed up for.
