I come from Germany but have lived in many different countries and even spent one university semester in Seoul. This lifestyle has given me a great appreciation for other cultures and international media, such as Korean dramas!
I discovered Kdramas around 2010 - Sungkyunkwan Scandal being my first one, quickly followed by You're Beautiful, Boys over Flowers, Playful Kiss and Coffee Prince. Those were the times when you were lucky if you could find all eps with english subs and even if you did, I had to go on the blogs afterwards to find out what exactly happened, because the subs often didn't make sense. ^^ For some reason I went on a long hiatus after these dramas but rediscovered my love in 2020. It's been a never ending stream of dramas since then ^^
I mainly love contemporary romance dramas with an interesting plot and good chemistry between the leads(!!). My all time favorites (for now) are Healer, Suspicious Partner and Her Private life.
