Theory on who killed Song Mo in his first life and who killed his uncle

Today's Episode 19 shows Dou Zhou's fifth uncle was informed by his master to go along with Duke Yong's marriage proposal.

The Empress seems to be a good person as well as the Grand Princess.  So, the bad person is so hard to detect.

Song Han is really displaying the traits of an evil man like his father.  His affection for his black cat is creepy.

Yeah I don't have a good feeling about Song Han

Seriously, when i saw the empress gave the decree to DZ when SM asked .. I thought she cannot be that bad.  Yes princess too. 

I thought Song Han was alright so far.. yes the black cat is creepy.. but he was nice to help out Ansu... those guys at the wedding were rude to him. still he held on...! 

I rewatched and caught up to ep 19, just to take a second look at every character.. still no clue who is that man who shot the arrow...!

Song Yichun poisoned Song Mo's mother.  He asked Song Han to feed her the poisoned medicine without him knowing.

Song Yichun knew that Madame Jiang would not suspect Song Han thinking the ten-year boy was her biological son.  But the boy suspected something fishy so he fed his cat some of the medicine which caused it to die.  He also checked the medicine by pouring it into a pot of plant which turned black.

Since then, Song Han always made sure the cats or his maid to taste the foods first.  He was afraid of his father poisoning him.

Lets see how drama will follow up poisoning and baby switcheroo plots - at this point we can only try to guess... in the novel a truth will be discovered slowly during the first year of marriage
We still have 15 episodes to go and a lot off events to unfold.  

DZ has entered the Duke Ying's household so things will move rather quickly in the drama compared to the novel.

definitely - and even additional dowry has been already delivered - so I think we won't see that arch... or maybe it will be modified - any way that part of the novel was quite draggy - so I don't mind to see more action instead of details of daily life all important drama families

Episode 19 was boring.  I want to see the conflicts and the investigation of who wanted to kill Song Mo.

I thought it was nice proper marriage episode :) but all of us have different taste and expectations 

I felt the many of the scenes were rather ridiculous such as her cousin sister, Zhao, ended up sleeping with her.

because in previous life she is only a married woman stuck in the home and inner chambers and only had surface knowledge of things that she heard about and what happened.

She needed an educated man who has knowledge of people's connections and the intricate maneuverings of the court factions. 

unless you're asking why him? he is the best one she could find, since he needs a saviour otherwise other scholars already have been recognized and have official posts and won't even look at her helping hand.

This is why she can armour herself better against other families or people who know about her wealth.  Also to fight agaisnt her uncle covertly. As you can see being an unmarried woman she still is being plotted and used by her uncle.
