Can you suggest something serious and well paced that isn't goofy?

Optional: If you're willing, can you tell me about the show/movie and why it's great?

I'd especially love to see something with combat in nearly every episode. I'd love to see something similar to Buffy The Vampire Slayer, or Angel.

The Guest: supernatural and horror. A Priest, A Psychic and a Detective fight against a Spirit who has the ability to control smaller spirts. They have all lost humans they loved to him in the past and now try to work together to help people possessed by him and other ghosts. 16 eps. It's a great watch if you like horror. Personally I didn't find it scary, more sad and tragic.

The Worst of Evil: Crime and Thriller. A cop goes undercover in order to get a promotion. He is tasked to take down a rising gangster but instead gets more and more blood on his hands while protecting said gangster. Meanwhile his wife seems to have a connection to the gangster and gets involved with the case. This one has a lot of (graphic) fights. 12 eps. This is probably the most fast paced out of the ones I listed here. The actors are really amazing!!

Big Mouth: thriller. A lawyer who never wins his cases gets accused of being a con-man and has to survive jail while trying to prove his innocence and finding the real con-man. This has plenty of action as the main character has to fight and survive a *lot*. 16 eps. The mystery might confuse you at first, but it gets cleared up pretty well!

Train: scifi and mystery. A serial killer dumps his victims in a parallel universe in order to not be caught. A detective ends up going to that serial killers world after losing a loved one. He meets the alternate versions of his friends and family and even the loved one is alive. 12 eps. Really underrated and the concept is interesting!

"My Beautiful Bride".
