Kang Ji Hwan's Detective Cha/Runway Cop

Are you the Hong Gil Dong’s fans? so this is absolutely a good news for you…yups..Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yoo Ri will be reteam on a new project, but this time not in small screen. they both will appear together on a new comedy movie, “Detective Cha” From director of “Level 7 Civil Servant”, Sin Tae Ra, “Detective Cha” is another action comedy movie from him. This movie tells about detective Cha, played by Kang Ji Hwan, who is forced to go on an undercover mission as supermodel to solve a case. Sung Yoo Ri will play as designer who has duty to make over this detective to become a real supermodel on catwalk. So maybe this movie will not be different with “Miss Congeniality”, on male version and (i wish) more crazy because it’s Kang Ji Hwan, for me he is King of rom-com movie. Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yoo Ri looked so adorable and charming as a couple on Hong Gil Dong, and i hope they still keep on that chemistry for this movie. “Detective Cha” begin to filming on this month so maybe this movie will be released on late next year.

Runway Cop Reveals Post-Makeover Kang Ji Hwan as Male Model Detective Cha



Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yuri‘s upcoming fat cop-turned-undercover-male-model comedy movie Detective Cha has gotten its English movie title as Runway Cop. Not Runaway Cop, got it, so don’t go confusing the two. The movie comes out next week and ought to be lots of fun. I love it when a movie knows its got a ridiculous premise but then runs with it, playing up all the jokes at the expense of the characters and allowing the actors to have tons of fun. We’ve all seen the fat version of the titular Detective Cha, so are you all ready for the male model version?
