kdrama - cdrama where male lead hurts female lead

 I know that this is very specific and weird and something is wrong with me but I feel the most satisfaction in dramas when the male lead does something very bad to the female lead and afterwards the female lead is incredibly hurt and emotional. Then the male lead keeps apologizing and regretting what he did  and seeks forgiveness. The female lead shouldn’t give in immediately.

Kleun Cheewit - Female lead is fleeing from her abusive stepfather, but because she is drugged by him, she runs over ML's fiance who dies. Wanting revenge, he is relentlessly going after her, crossing every taboo in the book. You really don't want him to be ever redeemed but still, I enjoyed this drama so much. Yaya's character (our FL) is the strongest woman!
(Maybe a game breaker for you: is that he is not so much begging for her forgiveness bc he loves her so much and wants her back, but especially because of how much he has wronged her. In the end he knows he does not even deserver her anymore never mind how much he loves her)

I will definitely recommend New Tales of Gisaeng.The drama is a bit older, but she really brought him on his knees crying and begging her to take him back.

Only heir of a rich family, ML liked FL from day 1, but failed to realize how much he wanted her and how quickly he’ll keep falling for her to the point he wouldn’t be able to be without her. He started all cocky and looking down on her often asking himself « why do i like this nobody this much?» He often hurt her, but sadly for him, one thing FL had was her pride. She is usually extra respectful and peaceful, but never once did she let him get away with walking all over her. He quickly became extra whipped, but realized it when it was kinda too late to easily get her back. I believe he came really close to totally losing her. I won’t  say more, but i promise you will enjoy it. Towards the end, it gets a bit draggy, but the dynamic of the relationship between the 2 leads until they finally get together is more than worth it. 

just like you, i enjoy this type of dramas and NTOG is my favorite in the category. 
Unrequited Love is also a really good one. Probably the one of the rare 3 modern Cdramas I can tolerate (I’ve watched many, but just can’t stand the childish and desperate ways of their FLs. In this drama, ML repeatedly hurts FL, and it was often unintentionally. Even though she was really whipped for him, she always found ways to distance herself or turn her back on him to lick her wounds when it happens. ML then will be running after her trying to make amends. Definitely my favorite Cdrama inthis category.

Another Cdrama that could fit in this category is Boss & Me. At one point in the drama, FL’s feelings were hurt (unintentionally imo) by ML. She made sure he knew about it. ML then had to try quite hard to make amends.

I will also recommend Secret, a masterpiece in thecategory.

If you like Thai dramas, here are two more where the ML hurts the FL and later makes amends. RLSR has pretty satisfying grovelling.

The ML hurt FL feelings when she was in high school or college (I can't remember), but then several years pass and they meet again at their workplace. FL hates ML at first, but then they gradually start falling in love. So they have a love-hate relationship.

Love equations - one of the most satisfying grovels because the ml is very sad and longing for the fl, the actor did a good job

There are a lot of Taiwanese dramas that fit your descriptions. Since I love this kind of plot as well, so I’ll recommend you my top 5:

1. Autumn Concerto (Taiwanese)- ML is a rich playboy who fell in love with a kind hearted and innocent FL. At first, he pursuit the FL only because of a bet, but later fell hard for her. Since the ML has abandonment issues, he has trouble trusting people hence would sometimes end up hurting the FL because of misunderstandings. 

2. Loving Never Forgetting (Taiwanese) - This one is like Autumn Concerto. ML is rich and FL is kind and innocent. They had one night stand and the FL got pregnant w/o ML’s knowledge. They later crossed paths again after ML accidentally met his son. He hurts FL, humiliates her but end up falling for her.

3. Lavender (Taiwanese) - this one’s an older drama (2000/2001 I think)  but worth watching bc it meets your preference. ML and FL meets when they were young but got separated. When they’re in their 20s they meet again but got tangled up with misunderstandings along the way so ML ends up always hurting the FL’s feelings.

4. Mia Tuan/ The Illicit Wife (Thailand) - this one is gonna be so hard to watch but if you want to feel that satisfaction that you’re looking for you need to watch this. You’ll get the ML begging for FL’s forgiveness in the end, this is it! The ending is so satisfying. TW // rape

5. Love in sadness (Korean) - The male lead is MADLY in love with FL and is overly possessive of her.TW // domestic abuse
