This is such a surprising video.  I mean, it isn't a song I ever thought I would see him singing.

Has anyone found reference to him actually being fluent in English?

I remember seeing a video where I think he said a greeting in a variety of languages, but I didn't recognize them all.  But that's not him actually being fluent.

Kind of sad, but beautiful.  All the male leads did a commercial in character where they wrote a letter to XY.  XL's basically built off his epilogue and the message he wrote on the hidden crystal ball.  It was this one.

Does he?  I know there was a video that wasn't subbed, where he was wearing glasses during them, ostensibly telling the interviewer something about too much light or how he would make faces if he had to face the light.  I thought he was hung over or something.

I remember another video from Go East where it looked like the light was bothering him and there was lots of squinting too.

I don't know how he can perform, since there are strong lights on all sets.

I wonder if this is a problem with people who have big eyes. Do our eyes absorb more light than normal?

That's a true mystery.

You know, when I go to the dentist, it's so weird, but I need to put on my sunglasses because otherwise, I won't stop tearing up. That direct light on my face makes me cry instantly. Same with taking photos. Using flash is a no-no.

I was thinking something similar, like maybe his pupils are bigger or maybe closes slowly or something.  But I looked it up.  OMG.  There's so many things associated with photophobia.  I mean knew about migraines, but wow.  It did say something about a vitamin deficiency -- maybe that helps him.

Yeah, that dentist light is tough.  And very similar to set lights, at least on TV.  I did a pr interview for a convention I worked one time, and the LIGHTS.  Fortunately I was in costume and it had sunglasses, but man.  I don't know how they do it.

Ah yes, the migraines. That too. It’s awful. There’s also that thing about the pupils, yes. It’s not the same for every one but I remember I went to the doctor when I first found out about this and he said my pupils are permanently dilated. But it was something I was born with and I could have surgery if I wanted. No thanks, lol. It doesn’t bother me too much, except for the occasional migraines. And I prefer darkness anyway hahahahahaha
