the author themselves is a medical professional so it does have a good chunk of medical jargon and it's a realistic one too. they did change a bit of the character profile and setting and expanded a bit on other characters in the drama. the novel is told more from the fl's pov. the extra tho was what kills me and made me cry the whole night.
