Wow.....I was going to read the novel...but after reading the posts in here... it made me lose interest in the novel. I guess I will stick to the drama then since it feels like I am a minority who actually enjoyed the changes to the ML from the sounds of things. 

I agree with you. Like who would be disappointed the ML isn't a complete ass to the FL? I've heard several dramas that have toned down the ML's abuse and I'm glad they did!

yes but his interal conflict and his ruthless personality that would do anything for the sake of his ppl who what's attractive about them and more interesting than that typical good guy we're always getting. And in the novel, ppl like his and the 2ndML more. I mean those two are the real deal. At least in the novel, the drama completely ruined their relationship
