Can you recommend me some specifc Korean dramas?

Korean dramas with "bad boy", tough, badass Ml protecting and loving sweet and innocent FL - nothing historical tho, and happy end pls - something new-ish, like 2017 up

  • Lovely Runner  There's some of that but it's the SML protecting and loving the FL.
  • True Beauty ML and SML are protecting FL in their own way. ML because he knows FL's secret.

I too love a good cliche storyline. I will never get tired of those. People can say what they want,  but I'm gonna watch those all I want... haha. I also love a good bad boy ML with a good FL drama. I know I've PLENTY of those, but here's a few I'll list out for ya.. I don't know if you've seen any of these or not, but worth a try..

  • Best Mistake-  Bad boy ML protects the sweet/innocent FL. Definitely what you're looking for.
  • Dragon Day You're Dead- Bad boy ML... at first dislikes FL and picks on her, later he likes her and ends up protecting her, etc.. (this one is Chinese) 
  • Falling Into Your Smile- Not quite bad boy, he's more on the cold/cool side but definitely has the bad boy looks and exterior. (This one is also Chinese tho.)
  • Lighter and Princess- Kind offff?? Definitely on the cold side. (also Chinese... wow I didn't realize a lot of bad boy dramas are C-dramas...) 
  • Extraordinary You- This one fits for the 2ML...
  • The Heirs- This one also fits for the 2ML... but I guess the ML can have some cold vibes to him.. ( this ones a bit older, it was made in 2013. Buttt still worth the watch) 
  • F4 Thailand- Fits your description perfectly... (the FL isn't really super sweet and innocent tho.. also it's Thai)... but there is a Korean version... Boys Over Flowers.. I just prefer the Thai and Chinese version.
  • Just Between Lovers- Another kind of bad boy exterior. ML gets into fights, etc. But has kind heart with a lot of emotional baggage. 
  • School 2017- More of a bad boy ML, definitely has an interest in the FL.
  • Accidentally in Love- Not the main couple. But more of a side ish couple..  (FLs friend Fang Fang and the love interest Lin Yi Yang... he's the literal definition of bad boy protects and falls for sweet/innocent girl. This one's also Chinese tho..)
  • Ang Mutya ng Section E- This one is from the Philippines, but it perfectly fits the bad boy plot you want... except the FL isn't sweet and innocent... she can hold her own,)

  • Itaewon Class (bad boy later ex-juvenile ML  loves helping people, protecting both FLs most of the time, at first FL1 is innocent but because of poverty changed. FL2 is somehow sweet but not innocent)
  • Little Women (At first FL1 is sweet and innocent but adapted to situation. Badass ML1 is always ready to help in secret. For FL1 there's little to no romance. FL2 is straightforward and naive, also adapted. ML2 is not badass but he helps FL2 as much as he can)
  • Twinkling Watermelon (ML2 acts like a bad boy but actually caring, ML1 (ML2 and FL1's son) is brave and protective. FL1 is sweet and innocent)
