Philippines Drama Starter Pack

I've never seen a Filipino drama before. But since MDL has them in their database now, why not?

Like the title suggests, I'm looking for those type of dramas that everyone's seen. If I were to compare this to SK dramas, then I mean dramas like Healer, BOF, You're Beautiful, DOTS, etc. So I guess what I really want is to see the most popular Filipino dramas just to see what they have to offer. 

I'm not putting restrictions like year, genre, or ratings so feel free to recommend anything that fits the bill.

I've only seen one Filipino movie, and I quite enjoyed it. I wanted to try watching more but it was hard to find information on good ones to watch so I'm so glad MyDramaList added them. The movie I watched was this one:

Aww it's hard to recommend a Philippine drama. I liked "Dream Dad" and "Be Careful with My Heart" although I don't know if there's any website with those dramas subbed.  This one I really wanted to watch again if only I could find it "It Might Be You."

Some movies are good too.  I liked "Kita-Kita" and the depth of "That Thing Called Tadhana." Oh and the classic "Labs Kita Okey Ka Lang."

Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby's romcom movies are good too. They have such great chemistry. 

If you're into fantasy, you might wanna try "Magic Temple" too. 

Thanks for the suggestions. BTW I noticed that a lot of people are saying that subs for  Philippines drama are generally not very easy to find. Is it true? And if its, do you know of any sites that I can access subs from?

Well, that sucks. I guess I'll only be able to watch the popular ones then.
