Hi! I used to watch a ton of dramas between 2012 and 2017, but slowed down the last couple years because of work, other interests etc.
Now that I have some time on my hands, I would like to watch a recent and trendy romantic k-drama. The thing is, I've been following so little about dramaland these days that I'm rather lost as to what was a hit or not.
The last drama I watched was Radio Romance. It wasn't a particularly well-written or original drama, but I enjoyed it. I think that gives an idea of what I'm looking for: I'm not so into dramas anymore that I need anything amazing, deep or indie, but I would love something fun, moving and pretty to look at.
The one element I absolutely want is romance – I want a beautiful, sweeping love story that will make me smile. Tragedy, Comedy, Slice of life... Whatever, as long as the feelings are at the forefront and memorable. My second criteria: I would like to be in the know again and watch a show that was well-liked and popular. And my third: only dramas from 2018 or 2019! Finally: Korean dramas only.
