Female lead spends too much time with another guy

Male and female lead begin dating early on, but she spends a lot of time with this other guy who likes her. She only sees him as a friend and doesn't see what its doing to her relationship until its too late. Maybe he thinks she cheating on him or her constant talk of the other guy angers him. She then has to let go of her friend to save her relationship.
