Crash landing on you

I think you should watch « Love affairs in the afternoon ».

It s about affairs but they take time to fall in love .

Sanae Rak Nang Cin (Thai Dramas) Multiple Couples

Oh and Martial Universe

You can try Descendants of The Sun! I don't know if you have already tried it, but for me, it's one of the best Romance, very well-developed. It checks a big part of your requirements. In the beginning, you can think that it will be a fast-paced romance, BUT They were flirting only, something happened and they paths separated until... we cannot say they were in love at this moment, they appreciated each other, and the ML hit on her   So, believe me, the romance takes time, and it's a very good one :) The plot is amazing and highlights the romance very well, they are always in a bad position but the ML always protects her from any dangers, and the FML have so many responsibilities, she is so strong and brave! I don't know how to explain it, but I think you can love this show so... it's up to you :)

Crash landing on you, Just Between Lovers, When the Camellia Blooms. They all have good development.

Coffee Prince - Both are interested in other people at first, then fall for each other gradually after being friends, working together, etc. I think they probably fall for each other around the same time, though ML thinks she’s a boy, so it takes him longer to realize/admit it. There is an age gap. ML is about 5 years older. SML and SFL end up together.

Reply 1988 - I’d say this is more a family/friendship story, rather than a romance, but there is also a lot of romance. There’s a bit of a guessing game as to which guy FL will end up with, so don’t write it off when she gets her first crush for no good reason at all. It definitely takes it’s time developing the relationships, but I don’t remember who falls for who first. FL isn’t dumb, but is definitely a character who grows over the course of the show. By the end of the show I loved all the characters, including the ones I found unlikable and annoying at the beginning. There’s no age gap.

Shopping King Louis - They probably fell in love around the same time, but there’s not an obvious moment, since they got closer gradually. ML is definitely jealous at points. No age gap. SML gets another girl, but only at the VERY end.

These last 3 are dramas I watched a long time ago, so I don’t remember them very clearly.

Faith - I remember the romance being relatively slow and understated. Often they seem more like companions than lovers. I don’t think FL was dumb, but let’s just say she’s an acquired taste. She was pretty annoying at first because she’s upset about being dragged back into the past, but gets better once she adjusts to her new life. There is an age gap between the actors (male actor is younger), but I don’t think the characters have an age gap (if anything ML is more mature). There is a secondary couple, who I think most people really love.

Dream High - All I remember is that it was actually difficult to figure out which guy she was going to end up with until pretty late in the drama, which means they couldn’t have gotten together very fast. They’re all high school students, so no age gap.

Personal Taste - It’s a cohabitation romance where FL thinks ML is gay, so I don’t think they got together very fast. You see them become friends before they become lovers.

I actually watched this drama till episode 6 and couldn´t watch any more cuz it was too fast for me. I know it was more flirting in the beginning but now already they feel some kind of jealousy and the male lead even kissed they female lead and she returned that kiss.

Sorry but I really didn´t liked it that much and I even wanted to drop it in the first episode cuz he was interested in her at first sign.

Still thank you!^^

Thank you for all the recommendations!

Someone actually spoiled me and said who she would end up with in Dream High and that sounded so stupid to me, that I didn`t wanted to watch it^^"

It's too bad I Hear Your Voice is a no-go because of the age gap - this is actually the best drama I can think of in term of romantic development. It seems like the ML was already in love with her from the beginning but we quickly find out it's more of this grand image he built of her. It's really fun watching watching her tear his pre-conceived notions and fall in love with the real her. But oh well. Maybe you can try:

Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat: ML hates her at first so you really see the romance develop

Marriage, Not Dating: the FL may seem annoying at first but she really grows on you

  • Something In The Rain
  • Dinner Mate
  • Crash Landing On You

Well, to each his own, right? :) But, more or less, I think I've figured out what you're looking for... Maybe I'm wrong; however, you can check  The Best Of You In My Mind.  In term of romance, it's a slow burn one between two childhood friends. They took a long time to figure out they like each other as more than just friends.. I hope this time I'll help you in one way or another :)

That is actually in my plan to watch list^^ I didn´t know it was a slow burn romance, thank you!

I agree with your thoughts on My Love from the Star and She was Pretty.  MLFTS, the female lead was so irritating, SWP was just unsatisfying for me.

Might I recommend Dating in the Kitchen.  It is my new absolute favorite.  Chinese.  There is an age gap, but I personally found this to be the most romantic Asian drama that I've seen.  I've watched it multiple times.  She is just precious, and the way he looks at her...oh my!
