What I’m looking for in this case:

Not a standard-length kdrama (i.e. not 16/32-20 episodes long, either a longer kdrama that isn’t too typical or a regular to long cdrama (since those tend to be longer anyway). Jdramas would be fine too regardless of length since they’re not usually as predictable but rarely fit the other aspects.

Good quality, older or underrated dramas or ones that aren’t typical super welcomed

Male lead does not love female lead from the very beginning but grows to love through a steady pace and interaction & becomes very sacrificial towards her (willing to give up whatever his other objectives are or place her above them) But! he is still an ambitious and/or successful person.

Male & female lead love each other in spite of some challenge or their families being on opposing sides

Male & female lead have a physical relationship (it’s either implied or clear they’re in an adult relationship if ur understanding what I mean lol)

I’d prefer marriage & etc but even in the case of a sad ending, as long as the other aspects are there I’d give it a try

Honestly I’d love to see a whole drama around a couple like Mijoo & Minwoo from Giant. That’s pretty much exactly what I’m looking for.

I dont remember a drama with all those aspects, i do remember a few dramas, but it doesnt quite hit the Mijoo- Minwoo feels:

  • Queen of the game
  • Happiness - secondary couple of this drama the story of Aeda and suk. The first  check on first 2 scenario

Scenario 1

  • First Half of My Life
  • Doctors
  • Dating in the Kitchen

Mixed bags of the 3 scenarios:

  • Amateur Lovers Never Give up - secondary couple is in scenario 1 & 3
  • Something in the rain - scenario 2 & 3
  • A thousand kisses - scenario 2 and 3
  • Pride - scenario 3

Six Flying Dragons, it’s a great drama overall and I think it has most of these aspects.

New Tales of Gisaeng, I recommend it. I thought it was great. It has most of these elements, especially how they have to overcome many challenges, including the opposition of the ML's family.
