the book ends in a tragedy , the writer wrote that she might give an epilogue but I havent seen any and it's been years :p

The production team has stated that the script will be different from the book, so they might do a Happy ending . Based on the Shen Yin live stream I deduced that they followed the first half of the plot and then made changes to the second half.

There is a third book and in the first few chapter there is a scene with Yuan Qi which atleast for me  is happy ending or consider it a happy ending....

From MTL the name I got was God Bai Shou i think and in MDL it's named as chasing the moon.

The JJWXC end in chapter 138 but there are 2 epilogues.  The first epilogue told us about  how A Yin was able to undergo 27 reincarnations and and every time she was reincarnated there was always Yuan Qi accompanying her. The second epilogue told us about how Yuan Qi's soul could be resurrected just like Bai Jue. They live happily and has a daughter.

Yes, but the novel was not completed yet. Have you read it? It's about the return of Yue Mi who was Shang gu's best friend and loved Tian Qi.

Actually, in drama ALP, they already included Bai Shou. It's the girl whose father was the city mayor in the mortal realm. Her father died while trying to evacuate the people. Later Qing Mu taught her some martial art. 

In the novel, her family circumstance is different. She and her twin sister were saved by passingby Tian Qi when she was a girl. Thus, she just wished to become immortal to seek for her saviour.

Maybe Ting Ling sold the novel and busy with the script of Chasing moon thus there has not update content from end of September 2023
