Just like Wuxia, Xianxia is a Cdrama genre. Although Wuxia dramas have a longer history than Xianxias, they have started to become very prominent these past few years and should get the same treatment as Wuxias. They are totally different Cdrama genres, and it's unfair for Wuxia to be a genre while Xianxia is a tag. And although there are many more Wuxia dramas than Xianxias, more Xianxias are being produced, and unnecessary confusion should be avoided.
Xuanhuan could also be considered a genre, but I think it should still stay as a tag for now because Xuanhuans are not widely known or popular at the moment.
